Workflow:

Zoom
That’s a very powerful message for the country — if two 80-year-old men can successfully log into a Zoom meeting, anything is possible.
As Mr. Biden’s live stream drew to a close, a message popped up on his one-time rival’s video screen: “You are muted by host.”

“Today, we are witnessing the shotgun weddings of words into some strange unions, neologisms sped into existence by this virus, epidemiological vocabulary hitched together by Twitter hashtags. It seems like there is a parallel language contagion occurring. […] Are there English majors chained under the earth, forced to write these lines, or did an algorithm of some kind generate them?”

Notion

In the end, museums were primarily monuments to their own values and tastes, showcases for what political power and private wealth could buy. […] They need to acknowledge the often conflicted relationship between aesthetics and ethics. They need to address what their collections leave out. They need to reconsider their own role as history-tellers and history-inventors. In short, they need to redefine what “encyclopedic” and “museum” and “art” can mean.
Like all of us, museums are stitched tight into the fabric of a messy, venal, Darwinian world. If they’re going to present themselves as enlightened alternatives to that messy world they better get busy. […] Enlightenment is a hard-won fight, and alternative always starts as an inside job.

At least 95% of the challenge in querying data doesn't come from the difficulty of writing SQL statements IMO, but from the complexity/brokenness of the data itself.

When SoundJam first added support for Audion faces, they incorrectly used the drag mask for transparency, causing these messages to be cut out from the face. Because of this, some face designers would hide advertisements for Audion in the drag region.

“Google Fonts is not just a repository of hundreds of free fonts - it is also a clever delivery mechanism utilising many of the latest web performance techniques to try to deliver the most appropriate fonts, with the minimal effort to the website owner. In moving to self-hosting you ideally want to re-implement as many of those improvements like font-display: swap, subsetting, and removal of hinting (at least for some browsers), or you may actually negatively impact performance by having larger fonts files.”
