It always feels wicked for me that big techs can manipulate their apps’ behavior simply by flipping a toggle on their servers’ side. In a sudden YouTube got dark mode. Then it could go away on a whim. Twitter timeline gets implanted with some magic sauce today. Tomorrow it could be sorted in a completely different way. If it’s unavoidable that you insist doing so for money’s sake, at least issue a formal app update with all changes documented & explained.
